A STORY IN PICTURES

In our line of work, we get a glimpse into the work that other people do and see things we probably wouldn’t have seen if they didn’t need us to capture it. Sometimes, it is something ordinary.  But most of the time, it is a great experience for us.

Aerialshots was recently tasked, by Maunga Projects, to take photos of the various facilities that they have been upgrading around the country.  We were really impressed by their work and thought we would share some of the great photos from two of these projects.

For the past three years, Maunga Projects has been busy upgrading the National Library in Pretoria.  They have done an amazing job at returning this historical building to its former beauty.  We can’t wait to see what it looks like when it is full of books, people and movement.

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at a reservoir in Pretoria, expecting to take the usual maintenance aerial shots.  But Maunga Projects have been doing upgrades inside the reservoir and it was subterranean shots that they actually needed.  What an experience to descend into a reservoir.  What we see above ground is small (and a lot less exciting) in comparison to what is below ground.
